Kauai Treasures makes Kauai-inspired designs — apparel, drinkware, totes and gifts drawn from the island's places, its character and the memories people carry home. The Journal is where we write about them.
What the Journal is for
This is a companion to the shop, not a travel guide. Articles here focus on gift ideas, design inspiration and the stories behind a piece. When you need current conditions, beach information or trip planning, our sister site Kauaʻi Insider covers that ground.
Editorial transparency
- Articles are published under the Kauai Treasures name and reviewed by a person before going live.
- Our designs are Kauai-inspired. We do not claim products are made in Kauaʻi or made in Hawaiʻi.
- Factual claims about Kauaʻi carry sources and a last-reviewed date.
- Articles link to products we sell. Purchases happen on KauaiTreasures.com.
- We do not publish reviews, testimonials or first-hand accounts we did not actually gather.
Place names
We use Hawaiian place names with diacritics in body copy — Kauaʻi, Nāpali, Poʻipū — while search metadata may use the common non-diacritic spellings people type.
